I think it’s a fun idea. I’d give it a whirl if I had some spare time.

I think it's cool to design the back of a playing card, as long as it looks the same upside down as it looks right side up.

I'd never change the face of them, however. Just seeing a red or black number in the top left and bottom right, and a huge picture in the middle... it's ridiculously distracting...

Designing a back side has been done to death... Companies who wants advertisement on the card only do that.... This will be a specially designed deck.

The cards eventually will be printed, once the deck is complete.

I totally agree with supah - no selfrespecting pokerface would play with weird cards
Now if those had naked chicks on - one might be persuaded to buy a deck - just to keep handy:D

Still - I think that having a deck of cards with nice backs would be nice.... haha - Just thought of solitaire hihi

Then why not do art. For me, if they're not bicycle, bee, or hoyle, I probably won't use them.

Excellent project. Wonderful idea.

But the site is no good. Why is the deck link last? And are you using iFrames? Why? And that tan color is no good. The site needs a major redesign, and some interactivity. Add a shoutbox or a site mailer, to get some discussion going. Then advertise a lot, and people will really want to. With a site like that you wont get very many people, which is too bad, since its a good project. Way to go - now redesign! :D
