Back in my day all we could hope to ask for was a Red Rider BB Gun...now these kids are getting spoiled like crazy. Oh well, I'm still happy for the little ****ers!

The blender I got was:

http://store.yahoo.com/dotcoms/cuissmarprem.html

When my wife and I first moved in, she had bought some cheap $20 blender from Wal-Mart. A few weeks later she smoked it, literally. The kitchen smelled like burnt wires for days. I'm a big blender guy, so I missed the blender for almost 2 years. I hadn't even asked my parents for a new one, but we got one anyways. That was a bigger present to me than the dishwasher, because the blender is the only tool I can really use in the kitchen without screwing something up

We get people inviting us to their parties as long as we bring our blender, lol, but it usually means we don't have to bring any liquor =)

Yeah, I used to think that a blender was just a blender, but my brother got this one that's like a restaurant-quality smoothie maker. It's the pimpest thing ever.

Also, have you heard of that one that like, spins so fast, that it actually heats the liquid up? Like, you can make soup, in the blender. That's freakin' crazy.
