Hi again...
I was just wondering about Paypal...again
Okey now I have set up an account, even though I don't have a credit card...
Now my question is...IF I would ever would be able to get any money to my account...How would I be able to get the money from my account?
Will the send it home to me?
Because they can't put it on my bank...

Anyone who have used this and actually know how this works?
Thanks for any help

You can have them send you a check for a fee of like a dollar. But I have a paypal debit card that i use like a credit card, and it deducts it directly from my account...

Hey that sounds really great!
How do you get one of those paypal debit cards?
So it takes the money from your Paypal account without taking any "actual money" from your real bank account?
Where can you use this card then?

Don't mean to steal your thread Censured, I just don't think this question deserves its own. Hope you don't mind.

I have some money on PayPal but I don't have a credit card hooked up to it. It says my maximum sending limit is $0.00. Does that mean I can't buy anything online? Or just that I cant send anyone else money?

If I can buy stuff online, what are some good (qualified) stores that accept paypal? I'm thinking something as big as amazon.com, cdnow, future shop, threadless, pacsun, etc. I don't want to buy discount diamonds or designer clothing - I want some CD's or books or video games or a new mouse or a wacom or something. I was looking at ebay but since I live in Canada, there can be additional costs even after I've bought the thing. And s+h is extra. And all sorts of other ****ty arrangements. So I don't think I'll mess with it. So ... any suggestions?

There should be a link on the paypal site somewhere to sign up for the debit card, unless it isn't available outside of the US or something. It is accepted everywhere MasterCard is accepted though. Pretty handy!

It should also be connected to some kind of account. Like I have mine tied to my checking (chequing - I'm in Canada, eh?) account and if I send someone some money, all I do is use their paypal name and send them money, it's withdrawn from my account, and vice - versa (minus having to manually put the money back into your accout.) But if you are talking about using PayPal like a bank account, then yes you would need to get a debit card or chequing card.

So you can still use paypal without having to use them as a bank account.

You can pay whoever accepts paypal as long as you have money in the bank. That $0.00 thing just means you don't have cash sitting in your paypal account. A lot of places take PayPal, just look for the little paypal logo next to the credit card logos.

Have you looked at ebay.ca? It doesnt sell as much as .com, but most people are in Canada so no duty fees.

You can go to the PayPal site and they have a list of thousands of merchants that accept PayPal...

And I don't know about the balance thing, you would probably have better luck asking paypal than us...

But I do have money in my PayPal account - I can see it on the balance screen.

I know that a lot of places do, but from what I've seen, most of them are pretty small/shady. I'm looking for something really big - something thousands of people trust all the time. Like the ones I mentioned earlier. Why don't they take PayPal?
