...worth a try so here goes... Hey Pank, You don't know me... or you might... I litter these forums with super newbie questions from time to time and now, I figured I bother you directly for a change :p. I was wondering if you could send me all the links you have (like in your favorites folder) that relates to graphics. It would really help me out in getting to the next step of Pankology and being a good Pankeist. Seriously, I'm sometimes baffled by even the simplest things. I know you probably didn't get so good overnight (although you might've - this I wonder sometimes), you probably have been using Photoshop for years and I just want to know what steps you took to mastering the way of the Pank... Hit me back, just to chat, sincerely yours, your fan, Sharif the man (I do it better than Eminem). |

Is this a new cult or religion? Either way, count me in.

Go take a course at the local college or something. Did you learn how to do Algebra when you first started math? No, you learned basic addition and subtraction. Although some people will say otherwise, I think teaching yourself is not really the way to go. It's fine once you know the basics and some intermediate level Photoshop, but seriously, find someone to teach you. Not everyone is cutout for self teaching and it is more then evident that you fit in this category. |

Yeah, I agree with Spectra there. Look up some online tutorials somewhere. Check under the resources section. Ultimately, you can usually, once you've learned anough about photoshop, be able to pretty accurately copy what other's make, but by then it's better that you come up with your own style. |
