Design Complaints

Indeed, I really hate it when "designers" use bad fonts with flash. Its an instant sign that they don't know what there doing. And long transitions do suck... but well done, fast ones can be good. 2advanced's transitions are a bit on the long side lol.

my point is that a site like ford.com probably doesn't have search engine compatibility as its main concern.

designers in general don't know how to use type well, and most design on the web is horrible for those that hadn't noticed. flash design that sucks is just like an html site that sucks, it just moves more

Here's a good example of a site that is all flash and no content...

it's a company that is making a new console called the phantom. they have fancy intros from 2advanced and a site from who's we, and it all looks very flashy and nice, but there is close to no content. very little info about the console system, or any games that are coming out. sure it's still in production so they aren't releasing every detail yet, but the site still seems very empty to me, and like a lot of hype with no real content or substance.

This aside, it was a nicely made flash site, don' you think.
But as stated, not to much content, so in that aspect, the site stinks.

jesus! Talk about going over board on the interface/flash lol. It is slick though..(graphic wise) but sucks otherwise/for any other purpose than being pretty.
