Anyone hear any good music lately? Gimme some band names. Preferably something a little techno-esque. Just a little though.

I've been going all out downloading Enigma, Hooverphonic, The Postal Service, Death Cab For Cutie (waaaay more normal than they sound) Massive Attack, and so on.

If you haven't heard of them, go get some.

Anyhoo, gimme some ideas.

Thanx.

I only listen to crappy music. The more contrived, predictable and poorly written, the better.

It makes me feel special because in this way I set myself apart from all the people who think they're so damned cool because they spend hours searching for little unknown bands that only a handful of the world's population knows about.

;o)

Massive Attack's not that ambient. I meant techno-esque in terms of digital beats & sounds with and maybe real instruments

Yeah, Lamb's pretty cool. A friend of mine from germany got me listening to them. Actually he's a member of this forum, named surrender, but he hasn't made any posts yet.

Yeah, radio's cool, when I'm at school, or otherwise somewhere with at good connection, but at home I have craptacular dial up.

Hopefully that'll change soon, once 'phase two' goes into effect...

P.S. Check out Massive Attack's website sometime. It was designed by HiRes, the same people who did the Donnie Darko site, so it's worth a look.

*edit*
Why not post a link? Who doesn't like links?

lmao MAYBE real instruments xD

So anyway. Have I heard any good music lately? Yeah. The album's called "Wish You were here", and the band's called Pink Floyd. I listened to that album like 9 times this weekend.

If you enjoy strange musical effects, you'll dig this album. You'll also dig this album if you like good music.. xD
