Depends, dude. RIP software is *ONLY* available for PC. - but I'm sure you've tried to match colors on your PC's and uh.... you know how fun that is.
I've designed and printed some of the largest billboards and posters in Vegas, and I can guarantee that the only PCs in the building were RIP stations - not by choice, however. My files regularly use over 2 GB of Scratch disk space, and I'd die if I didn't have a Dual Processor G4 for those.
