SAFARI ALL THE WAY

Um...not just because it's outright better looking than IE, with a much neater interface, it is also an integral part of Mac's network features, which comes in handy if you're on a network, you know, like in a school setting. The whole rendezvous thing is especially sweet for like studios with several workstations, or just several designers. You can just be like hey, check this out and it's there, on their computer.

I've heard Opera's cool though. Does it work on Mac? I really like the gestures idea, too. More stuff should have that.

All of you that use IE "just because" should really try opera or firebird, or safari or chimera if you're on a Mac. Browsers are moving way beyond IE, which is going to be the exact same for the next 3 or 4 years while all of the other browsers improve....

OK, since this isn't my computer, I have a couple questions about obtaining Opera.

Does it try to take over your computer like IE does? When I install it, I just want it to be another program on my computer. I don't want it to become my default browser, or default e-mail client, or any other sh!t like that. And I want to be able to uninstall it easily and completely. And I don't want it to take up that much space.

And while I'm at it, I want a pony and world peace.

So all you Opera-goers, does Opera meet my demands?

tom
