I know what Pank does for the big-bucks, but I won't tell, lest his black-agency bosses find and kill me.

Me, I work from my home, designing sales material for Real Estate agents, mostly. This involves redrawing maps, designing and redrawing logos in Illustrator (actually, I do TONS of different things in Illustrator), choosing photos, then optimizing, color and tonal corrections, cropping in Photoshop, as well as doing other elements in Photoshop, for one sheets, brochures, signage of all sorts. I'll do single page and signage stuff in Illustrator; multi-page stuff gets put together in InDesign. 90% of my work is done for companies 3 states away, so I have to manage highspeed FTP transfers as well as communicate with their local printers.

With dang near every new client also comes my lessons in how to optimize workflow so things are faster and easier for both of us. I haven't been able to figure out a way to charge for that, but by providing that info for "free" I have become known as a guy who can make it happen for even the most computer-illiterate clients. I get some nice job satisfaction from almost all my clients who tell me that they've worked with other graphic services providers (often in the same building or very close by to them), but that they have NEVER received the same high-level of customer service or quality of work and attention to detail. And I'm 300 miles away!

That makes me feel great, and it's the reason I don't like working for a big company. I can't control customer service in that environment, and it always mad me mad when the sales reps were idiots who only cared about getting more jobs out the door so they made better commissions.

Then, of course, there's my international reputation as a beer connoisseur and extreme gourmand.

I live near you (sort of), I live in a small town in PA, near Gettysburg.

I'm 21 and a aspiring model/actor who's looking forward to become the next american idol >>> Yeah Right :D

I'm 17 and full time student looking forward to become an architect or graphic designer, most likely I would end up in the military because I'm poor. I don't have a day job but I pack food at a restaruant for spending money.
