My job is to 'off' anyone Pank tells what he does for a living! Nah, I'm 36 and I'm a Sr. Industrial / Product Designer for the largest plastic bottle manufacturer in the world :: wuhaha... ha... heh:: Yup, I design plastic bottles. At night I do the same thing I do every night; try to take over the world one website at a time!!!! |

Alright alright, I was sittin' here reading all of your replies and I just wanted to throw in my 2 "centabos". I gotta admit, I feel so darn old after reading some of the ages of you young cats, but I'm 31 going on 32 and I had worked for 7 years supervising staff for after-school programs in elementary schools. We installed homework centers, literacy programs and established music and arts seminars. We also had doctors come by from a nearby hospital to teach our kids the benefits of eating healthy and handling stress. When I started college I was an art major, then switched to English, majoring in Literature and emphasizing in creative writing. Then I got published by another college in the area putting a book together for studying short stories in colleges throughout California. Then I went into fighting a rare illness and my contract expired last September and we lost our funds to provide anymore activities for our schools. So I was bummed, but I still return to visit the kids from time to time. Now, I'm still in school...I figure you never get too old to finish and you gotta finish what started. My bout with illness has come to close and I'm thankful to God for that. I have always been involved in working with kids and young adults and encouraging them to make wise decisions in life. So I've done a few websites online and I hold online auctions to help pay the bills. I would really like to generate more clients but I haven't taken the time to really market myself. I'm aiming at my degree then off to a Master's Program so I can teach college level. But over all I am a preacher by nature of the gospel of Jesus Christ. So there you have it. I would encourage anyone to persue their dreams and fight with any obstacles in life until you conquer them and overcome them to obtain the victory which you have declared to obtain prior to any hindrances in life. Let life dish it out, but never give up, and never give in to less than what your aim has been! Cheers, Zerimar3 P.S. About Pank's statement... The guy comes from Al Capone's homeland...I'd be careful. Hahahahaha!!! |

I'm 14 so I can't get a job outside. So I decided to open online businesses. Like maybe 6 of them, then link it to a network and expand on all of them. Here's my first one I'm starting on. It's a gallery for car pictures and stuff. www.rrevolution.net P.S does anyone know how to make a site go corporate or big. |

I'm 16 and my dad owns a cleaning buisness, so I do a bit of work for that. Besides that, I'm a learning web design, and hope to support myself that way in the future.

30 here, I work as a Helpdesk Analyst but I have had about every job there is in IT at one time or another. I can't get into design full-time as I can't even get my own site going, I think I have ADD or soemthing cause I keep trashing my site and starting over. Been working on it for about 6 years now! =) Could some of you who are professional designers post up links to your personal sites, I have checked out the ones that have links already. Still struggling to find my style.

hmmm, well pank and Utopian23 might be older than me, but so far I think I have everyone beat who revealed there age. I am a 33 year old domestic engineer who is working from home as a designer. Yep, that means I am a full time mommy of three boys. Gosh! Most of you are young. Enjoy every minute of it! It goes by faster than you think.

One of my first jobs ever was working in a library as a page and then up to "librarian".. it's actually a great job depending on the rest of the staff. I learned all sorts of new things just by shelving books. it was always nice and cool inside and you don't have to "sell" anything to anyone. i highly recommend it. i do freelance shtuff mostly and the occasional painting of murals for business'. misc. comic stuff and dnd gaming manual stuff. they pay me in pocket lint and pez. (mostly i sit around procrastinating and talking to paavo..shhhh) |
