time travel possible!

I just thought of something but it's really hard to explain.At the link to a different thread, they were discussing how it woud be impossible to travel into the future because it never happened.....(I'll try to be as clear as possible)
Think of it this way. The future is already set, from the beginning of the creation of the world (depending on your religion/belief). Saying that people will come to the past and change the future isn't actually changing the "future" because when the future was set, this event was supposed to happen. So saying I will go to the past and change what I know as the future is really not changing it, but following it. I'm not sure if you could understand it, but that's my thoughts.

Well, from a scientific perspective, the future is not "set"...and traveling to the future is kinda like going into stasis for x years (less or no time passes for you while years pass on earth). Traveling backwards (which many argue is impossible) and then forwards again would leave you in the newly affected future, and the one you left...who knows? There still isn't a definitive answer regarding the time travel paradox.

I am a time traveller - The time it took me to write that I travelled about 2 seconds in what would have been the future at the time I started writing it ... Hey - would you look at that - I travelled some more - lol it's the present already.....

seriously tho - I would give my right nut to be able to go to Woodstock - or whenabouts - I would buy Mac shares and strangle young Gates in his crib lol - well - maybe just poke his eyes:D
