Browser?

IE6 for most websites, since its usually the browser that websites are made to cater to and look best in. And opera 7 for websites that have too many pop ups to bother with otherwise.

I've been using IE my entire life, so that's what I stick with. And noone try lecturing me on Opera, because I've tried it and it's good, but I still perfer IE.

Opera is faster than IE and you can disable pop-ups, also you can resume downloads without having to install a bloody download manager. The ads in opera aren't noticable and I always use it.

As for sites being designed to cater for IE, those are bad sites (technically), because opera is more standards compliant, so 95% of the time, if your site looks good in IE, but not in opera, something's wrong with your coding. True!

I would just install IE 6, Opera, and Mozilla and you should be good to go. Test everything out in all 3 and you will be fine. I dont bother with Netscape since Mozilla is basically the same and it doesnt install a bunch of crap along with it. But I am like Squid, been using IE and really like IE6.

I pretty much use IE6 and Opera...

Opera is pretty sweet, except for the only reason that its so fast is because it saves all of the images to your HD... but that still alright cause you can always erase them or something :p

I would go with Opera if your looking for speed..
