not if it's server side. try downloading http://www.webimpulse.net/scripts/shoutbox/view_shouts.php , it just saves the html, none of the actual php code, so you would be able to import a file using php and hide the code which is being used to import it.

..yeah, but even with PHP, it prompts out the HTML (which I think we´re talking about) anyways, the only thing invisible will be the script that generates the HTML, right?

I mean, the browser needs HTML to show any site, and the view source thingie shows what it's read in order to show the site, so I really don´t think that it´s possible to 100% hide the HTML behind the page.

Why would you want to hide the code in the first place?
HTML is open-source. Webpages are open to the public.

The funny thing is, you can just pop the encrypted code back into that and press the source button. Boom, you got jacked.

What about a css solution if the css is the root of the server(or yoursection) where no one can get then all they would see would be some div tags and text and they couldn't get the file.css Or am I confused?

In order for the information in the CSS file to be used, it has to be called in by a <link> tag, where there's an exact path to the .css file. That's when people will just download it.

no offense but i doubt you are doing something so revolutionary that you need to hide it. now, quit fussing with this and focus your time on making a quality site. or even better come do my laundry.
