also this leads me to my next question which i will post tomorrow about why i had to place all the (br) tags there so i hope you guys are back cause your resourcefull

ah man i put the style in wrong again here it is
(style)

a:hover {color: #ff0000;font-family: verdana;}
a:link {color: #000000;font-family: verdana;}
a:visited {color: #00ff99;font-family: verdana;}
a:active {color: #00aa22;font-family: verdana;}

(/style)
hope it works this time it belongs in the head of the document
