What, you think I downloaded it from a P2P program? No, like I said, my friend burned it for me on a CD which is perfectly legal unless he were to sell it to me. But, he didn't sell it, he gave it to me.

im not gonna argue legal (god knows thats a long debate)

But usually the TOS states you can only make a copy as backup for yourself and that license only applies to 1 cpu. (or something similiar). Copying / Distributing (buring and giving) to a third party without purchasing a 2nd license is illegal unless both parties access/share the same cpu in which the license applies.

Im not good with legal crap...but thats somewhere along the lines of it lol.

It dont matter. If your not profiting from it and are serious about learning then its less of a crime (well...mentally anyway)

a. as rodder said, yeah, that is still illegal, sorry to burst your bubble
b. you're trying to run before you can walk. go do the tutorials to get a handle on how flash works and THEN look at doing other stuff dealing with variables, text boxes, and scrolling, oh my!

Even if it is illegal, you've probably gotten burned CD's, given burned CD's, or even sold them. So, I am not worried about any kind of "legal action" taking place on me or anything!

Dude, I didn't even start on about the whole legal matter. I just said that my friend burned it for me and whoever it was is the one who started on about the law and crap.

The thing is, that the rules on this board are against talking about warez (in any form), that's all.
