Illustrator path tool

I need a little help in Illustrator 9. Picture a cirlce. Now picture the text "HELLO" going around the top of the circle using the text to path tool, going from left to right ie clockwise. Now, picture the word "GOOD" at the bottom left of the cirlce which is reading from left to right. ie anti-clockwise. How can i get the GOOD to type anti-clockwise? Not neccessarily on the same circle, i can duplicate that if neccessary. PS the words i've used are not the actual words ;)

I can tell you how to do that in Corel Draw, but not Illustrator. :(

it's not too bad. i only do simple things with it. laying out plaques and name tags and stuff. it isn't much of a power user program though. a lot of the keyboard shortcuts suck or are non-existant, etc .

Yeah..i'm sure i CAN do this in Illustrator...i certainly hope so.. I'm doing another school logo.

If you can wait a bit I will be home in a few hours and i can run through it. I cant think of it right off the top of my head. Have you tried copying that circle and use it as another path for the text?

Yeah i have...the problem is that the tex i need on the bottom right is going anti-clocwise so it reads normally..

Can you make the text go backwards before you join it to the path?

In Draw there is a button to flip something to the other side of the path. Maybe Illustrator has a similar button.

I have run across this before when making text go around a CD. I just cant remember what I did....

not that i can see no...i don't use illustrator an awful lot.
