Hey Folks am Wondering if you can help

Just recently got photoshop cs2 and I am looking to create a web banner.

I have started football news/writing site and wantto create a banner for it but need a little help.

There is a banner on www.thejohnreport.net that I like but I want to to do a similar thing but with footballers instead of wrestlers. Now I have saved a load of fotballers images online just head shots and was wondering how I would go about incorparating them into a banner. I also want to get the name of my site in the banner but have like a exploding effect on the words. It's for my own site 30yardscreamer.com and in the zero have a football instead of the zero . i would like all of this on a black background.

Is this all a bit complicated for my 1st go on photoshop? I ma stuggiling to see how you insert the pictures into a banner because I cant see how you can do that. I am assuming I would have to crop the pictures to a certain degree?

I hope someone can help

Many thanks In Advance

Aldo

I'm on itouch at the moment but each image you want to use will need to be imported into one
Set your banner size first that start bringing them into it
