I just uploaded a new tutorial on taking a photo to a very flexible lineart drawing. I know its nothing that hasn't been done before. But its a simple way of doing it with fantastic results and gives you a very managable piece to work with.

More to come.

Sounds good, Torn!
Maybe I'll try and make some tutorials myself later on...
I'm mostly working on editing photos and stuff though, so the tutorial will probably be photography related. Maybe even covering Apple's Aperture....

And by the way, you deserve the thumbs up for spending so much time lately on trying to make new users feel comfortable and uploading tutorials and what not, great stuff!

Ooo... thanks I will get it online asap.

Apologies for not checking by sooner, we have been fitting a new design to one of our other websites, which has been taking up all my time lately... But it's finished now ... mostly

OK, I actually had screen caps to do one of the "vanishing point" tutorials I have been planning to do. The vanishing point filter/application is so deep and so useful it will take several tutorials to cover even a portion of what it will do.

#1 of the multi-part vanishing point tutorial is uploaded!

If you link me to the new image and tell me where it should go, I'll be able to FTP the replacement I think and edit the tutorial if needed.

Ok the image is here
and it is to replace the 5th image as you go down the page.

You'll see there are 2 images named "newlayer.jpg" the above image needs to replace the second one.

Thanks Rich!
