Hello Everyone...I am opening a new site to replace my old one which I can't stand anymore do to the content I must provide...My old site is a anime web site known Ryou****su Anime...The address for my old www.r-anime.com till it goes under....My new layout is still under construction and is being tweaked...You can check it out at the moment at www.doragondesigns.com/test/

Just to say it is going to be a site revolving around video editing....Since I make Anime Music Videos I will be placing them on this site...And also have premiere tutorials and Encoding tutorials...

erm,

i'd get a nav, work on the table because it looks terrible on a Mac IE5.x ->http://www.cyblingdesign.com/images/manga.jpg

get a nav, get rid of the scroller, it's too different to the layout and is in the wrong place. I like the colour scheme though. And look into the tables again prehaps, all good sites have to look good on all platforms if possible.

I was planning to have the navigation merge with the table on the left hand side.....Anyways this is still a beta...And the reason the image ends on the right for the banner is because It's meant for 800 by 600 viewing....so it would normally stop right after that...

Ohhh yea...Also before I didn't have the tables below the banner position correctly since I had to go and didn't have time...But they are now at www.doragondesigns.com/test/

you spelled smooth wrong, no apostrophe 's'.
and the layout is really plain. blue's, 3 pics, and an extrude.

there's too much space, and bad text choice.

Hey cybling boy!

Do you have a good source for demographics of user's resolution settings? I had seen some recently on a couple of sites that said that 800x600 is still the majority at about 45% and that 1024x768 or higher only accounts for about 35% or so of Internet surfers.

I'd love to get another perspective on some statistics to show my clients when we are deciding what size to make a site. Maybe you or someone can point me to a good resource for this information?

Thanks for the help.

anyone who does any sort of design on computers will use 1024*768 and over. Don't bother arguing. Higher res=more detail=more space
