New cool design. No glamorous but really nice

well i would just extend everything to the right- the top bars, the middle, the bottom bar, everything. and make the BG color whatever the very bottom color is

i think the first one looks pretty good....and for the background when you extend it...just make it that blue color cause over on the right side you cant really see that much of a difference in color between the water and the "sky" if you will......and i think that would work out pretty good.....

I was thinking of making tutorials I can use on my site. Any suggestions on what else I could have, that is not used on EVERY design page... Like..I could make a collection of the best 200 or something design sites on the web?
I just want to make something else than the usual portfolio, gallery, tutorials etc. stuff...Any suggestions?

Where can I find a preloader?
I don't want to use low quality jpg's at least not on the first design, it will just look blurry and ugly.. I'll save it with about 69 % quality (That's the quality of the screenshot).

I'm thinking of making a site with links to all the best design/graphics sites on the internet. In categories such as "graphics", "3D", "tutorials", "webdesign services" and such.. Is it a good or a bad idea, and should I change it a bit?

2. i think that having links is a good idea, but you also need some content of your own. theres already alot of sites out there that have a bunch of links like that.

Don't make a link site. There are too many. www.linkdup.com is the best one in my opinion.

Telling you what to put on your site defeats the purpose of having a personal site. Put what you like on there. If you have any other hobbies, put them on there.
