Site for schoolrock event

Every year my school has a little musicfestival (2500 visitors), and the student of the school organise it. I've decided to make the site, because every year it has been pretty awfull (check http://www.schoolrock.be and you'll see).

So this morning I whipped up a little design, so plz give some comments on it.

It's just the mainpic actually, nothing clickable. borders, content etc. will come later.

i like it, the colors are really relaxing... nice work.
It's just simple, in a good way.

And besides, you couldn't have done worse then the site that's up now :D

che was replaced by bob, cool shapes, funky box, nifty gradient, newsbox and 4 useless little things where added

Looks pretty cool. I like the sweeping red lines.

I think you need to run a spell check on it though, because I can't read any of the text in the content area.

yeah real nice layout.... that old site stinks.... everyones gunna love you when it ready.
