Sick of only flash being considered "cool"

I think these two should satisfy us lovers of static art for a while.

I have made a resolution with myself. For everysite that someone posts and says is cool because it is "flashy", I will post two sites that are mainly static art to accompany it.

Hey now Charm, Bert does some really good work... But yeah, totally hear ya on that. And I'll stand by my claim that it was already easy to make ugly stuff, flash just made it easier to make ugly stuff that moves

Still waiting for those awesome HTML sites guys. Seriously, I really want to see some actually, I just don't know of many...

It means they aren't moving all over the place. They just sit in one static position.

So, after all this discussion, those cool HTML sites are..? I'd seriously like to see some, there's just not a lot of really good designers doing straight HTML sites out there....

that's not true. i'm going to go in search of some handsome html sites.

Cool, lemme know. Tho i do honestly think most stuff out there sucks in general, Flash or otherwise
