...I want to learn how to do it manually if it is possible...But I'm beginning to think that it's not, so I'll prolly have to reconsider. - Not done searchin for the answer, tho. If there is a solution I will find it ;) (even if the time and effort clearly exceeds doin it your way)

I've seen a similar design on the Deep Purple official website. Not exactly like that but their former design was looking much like a newspaper.....
