i knew it was like that i was just wondering if it was that noticable i guess it is. But does anyone have an alternative???

keep it up, PS6, you are on the right track! I really liked the original font in the first image. You should stick with that.

i went back to the old text. And made the basic interface. Nothing to flashy yet. Give me your opinions.

Before you get too much farther along on it, consider squashing it down a little, that's one thick header bar. And my earlier comments still apply about it being dark. I know when I think of my body, (or anyone elses for that matter) I don't like to think about dirty rust and blackness. I like to think of things being bright and shiny, and clean. But maybe that's just me.

your designs so far do not fit the subject at all. think about the subject for a while. it looks like you are just designing for the hell of it with no purpose. i'd completely start over if i were you.

You don't need anything to go by. Just do what Charm said... Put away your mouse, don't look at your computer. Sit in the corner if you have to, and just think about what would make a good design about the human body. Don't just make the site out of the latest tutorials you've read. While you're at school or work or whatever you do, think about what would make a good design for a site on that subject. You don't have to design only when you are in front of the computer reading the latest tutorial. Try something new.

Just a few tips.

I would take dekers idea on thinking about what would be a good idea for the site. I would assume you should make the color scheme something welcoming and "happy" considering its for your school. your teacher doesn't wanna see a site that looks like its made by the devil. I would make all the words and what not real clear so no one has trouble reading them. Also maybe you could go for a cartoon kind of scheme, where you have pictures of the body in a cartoon form. I think your orange parts of your layout look fine, its just the "death" banner and stick figure sex font don't really work out with it, but it sounds like you've got some positive ideas going, and a lot of good suggestions from the people here at TP. . . .good work PS6
