concept layout ... good or bad?

Ok. I'm working on a new layout for partrauma and after about 5 different concepts, I've came up with this one. There are a few things that I'm going to change, such as the content box (not sure if I like it all that much anymore ... already), and well ... I'm not sure where I'm really going with it now. I'm ... stuck. But anyway, what do you guys think?

oh, and does this seem kinda dark to anyone? it looked okay in photoshop, but as soon as i upped it, the darker areas of the image are ... SUPER dark now.

It looks nice. what's with the "expandable" things?
you want to make it fill the screen?

No.. not dark at all, your design just looks better and better, I really have to say it looks pretty perfect to me.

ok, i re-did it again, because i didn't like the last one. lol. :D i swear, this is pissing me off. is this one better?

Potential yes. Very much so.

Is it going to get cut off on the sites? Will it expand horizontally? That might be cool. Are you using an iFrame?
