The splash takes so long to load because it is preloading the main images for the site. I figured i'd rather just wait a little at the beginning, rather than having choppy, slow transitions between pages. Yeah, i could have used CSS, but this was just way easier, cleaner, and less hassle. It is garuantee'd to work on any machine this way, and thats how the client wanted it. Thanks guys, -Carson BTW i AM hesitant to stand up for this site, as im not even sure if i like most of it. Oh well. It gets the job done with minimal conflict. |
