Not so much of a website as a small picture with links.

lol..

Thanks asshole.
haha jk

Dont hate just because its image based. Could have used flash...

Anyway.. its how the client wanted it. They wanted FULL control over text position, effects, etc, that couldnt be achieved with just CSS or something.

Yeah i agree with .02, it did take a while to load but im on 56K. As for the design, I dont really like the fact that it opens in a popup, Ive always had something against sites that open in popups, they just annoy me for some reason :P. The design looks alright, mostly images and text, but you said thats what the client wanted so thats what works

There's somethig wrong with splash.jpg - takes a hell lot to load - and I would have made it a gif - few colors... small size - better compression. Nice design though...

the only thing you couldn't do with css are the styles and textures but you did not use any

I suppose it could have been done with css (div styles).. but then it wouldn't have been compliant in most browsers... so there I must say its not too bad, although I don't like the idea of a popup :|
