navbar critique

I made this for a friend of mine.
although it isn't finished yet, I'd like some critique from yall!

...looks aren't everything. It's too big (I have to scroll in 1024x768), the text isn't the easiest to read (size & orientation), but other than that it's pretty sweet.

Hell, it's sweeter than anything I could do atm. ;)

Yes, like Deusy said, it's pretty and all, just really hard to read. And the navigation doesn't stand out. I didn't even know it was a navigation bar until I stared at it for a while. It looks like just a border or something. If you could make the letters bigger or a different color or something that would help. Maybe even the word Navigation with an arrow pointing to it. Although that should be the last resort I think. Pretty though.

For an image, it looks reeeeeeal nice! But like every above me...the text is too small to read. To make the navbar look like it really fits in with the page...put a bevel to it so it sticks out. Or create a new channel and guassain blur the right edge, lighting effects that navbar layer and select that new channel. That'll give it a purdy 3-d look!

Looks real nice the only little thing is the buttons... I guess that would be a big thing because it will (i would imagine) take a while to fix that. Have fun

I've made an attempt to adjust the navbar so that the buttons would be easier tor read...
I hope that this is a step in the right direction.
