School Yearbook Cover

I am doing the cover of next years yearbook. No one has ever done it on the comp. before so I'll be the first. Let me know what you think please!!:rolleyes: The image will take a minut to load...........

Dude...I love the horse! Very cool looking! I don't like the background tho...really bright and orange isnt my thing. For a yearbook I 'd say choose a neutral colored blue. Blue always looks good. But I guess for the background it's a personal thing. Do you have lots of time to make this? You should take a survey around the school IMO. Overall, very nice work!!

i MIGHT DO SOMETHING W/THE BKG.We are the "maverics" so I made a horse "maveric" and ran th "chrome" filter through it. I might do blue.Any thing else? TYhanks!

I like the pieces, but not the whole pie.

Individually, I like each of the three graphics (bkgrnd, horse, title)--but together, they don't work for me.

If you want to work with the chrome thingy, work the background in a black / greyscale arena....let the flames on the horse grab you--they get lost in the current background.

I think it's pretty cool. Extensive use of EyeCandy, I think the font doesn't quite fit. I do, however, like the mustang quite a bit. Is it scanned or hand drawn?

thanks, I will see what I can dooo. Oh and justin, what I did was trace it with a wacom tablet. I have one of those small ones. A teacher gave me a pic of our mascot and I got creative. A scanner would have been alot less time consuming. I was thinking about doung the bkg black + purple -ish if u know what I mean.

I have a Wacom tablet too.....they Rule!!!!! Everyone should go get one today!!!
