the banner is 700 pixels wide.. i dont know how it would stretch a 800x600 resolution..

Your header takes up to much space. It shouldn't reach down to almost half of the page. Even in 1152x864. it looks way to big.

Btw.. I wouldn't use the word "art" for your sketches/drawings. I think that word is used to easily and it means a little more than just pencil drawings.
