Ah, so that's what that e-mail was about. I just deleted it figuring it was a virus.

While it's obviously very immature of them to do this, I don't know that it would be worth legal action. But that is Pank's call. Copyrights on the internet are a pretty iffy situation as far as I can tell. A lot of people seem to think they don't mean anything.

But hey, from what I read, it looks like they are 1337 hackers. Better watch out if you send them an e-mail, wouldn't want them to hack your ass...

LOL! Those guys are very much morons.

Now they've upped the copyright infringement ante & included potential hacking threats in their responses.

In EVERY single case I've seen of a website harboring unauthorized copyrighted material and getting caught with it, they lose. I'm not exactly sure why these guys think they're any different.

I am working on finding a list of their clients so I can notify them and recommend they contact bbb.org.

Perhaps "THE MAN" giving these guys a call will get their attention.

If they're that cavalier with regards to copyrights and everything else, I bet it also wouldn't be too far a stretch of the imagination that the SPA & BSA would want a talk with them about their software as well. Of course, this is only an assumption.

does anybody remember the guy's email address?

He took it off his site, and I cannot remember it.

I have to email him asking about our "stolen animated gifs".

I don't see what he's talking about. I would just like him to point it out for me.

Teen.moronshop.com eh?
I guess the little twits failed to read pankpages.com. If they had they'd notice Pank's over 30. Far from teen years I'd say.

[edit]
And no I'm not implying he's just an old moron. :p
