Judge for yourself:

Apple.com

go-l.com

I know, they're not exact. but where apple resembles Mac OSX, the other one has the SAME header, only in an obvious WinXP appearance. Also, like ALL of the other page components look the same.

You'll see...

THEY'LL ALL SEE, DAMMIT!

I dunno. Doesn't look like a 'rip' to me. If anything it's "heavily inpired" or ... they just had the same basic idea. Which isn't unheard of.

Hmm, I disagree. I think its so inspired it may as well be a rip. The code may be different, but the first thing you think is "Apple" when you look at it.

Total Apple knockoff. They even have the news ticker on the front page, and on the system pages, they have that little horizontal bar allowing you to go to specs, technology, whatever.

Not to mention the actual Finder icons on the Technology page.

And all of the pictures of people on the site are from gettyone.com or something like that. Which makes me think the whole company is fake.

Even if it is rip I mean what can we do about it? They are like companies and stuff better just know it and leave it along if there's nothing you can do about it. Glad you found it though Pganguly I gave you that... Personally for me, I never look at anything apple/mac I'm kinda a pro-pc anti mac guy although more graphic designer users prefer mac.

It may not be be a rip...

However im sure this could be against copyright laws, way to much inpired...

But anyithing you say... Please don't start Mac Vs War Flame... its not the place... got to the misc forum instead... or better ask Panl to created a section for this

It's not a mac v. pc thing, it's just one site ripping off another.

This one just so happens to be apple.com.

A rip is a rip, no matter what the site.

Not a rip.

Apple site has light tabs, this has dark buttons. Sure, they're both located on top... but so are a lot of sites.

It just looks like a rip because if the similiraty in colors, the location of the navigation, and the laptop pic on the main page.
