Firefox 2 is out, and you can get it at the following link:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Any thoughts on the new additions that have been added? I personally like the new spell check feature which is already hooked up without adding an extension.

No problem man, always looking forward to Firefox's release. I found two Add ons so far that caught my eye.

The first one is here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1843/

The second one is here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1407/

I think for that second one you have to have a free account to use at Clipmarks.com but it seems like there's alot of information there.

Cheers!

I don't really see much difference really. Doesn't seem like much of a 2.0 release.

Yeah, there isn't much difference. Apparently from what I read around here and there, Mozilla is saving some of its major features for FF 3.0, but then again, who knows. And this isn't much of a difference, but it's out.

Cheers!

Its just like that "new" IE 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

um, ok.... /sarchasm off........

I kinda like the built-in spellcheck and the arrows to scroll through the tabs, but the gui I'm not so happy with.

For those of you that also find the new GUI stuff annoying but haven't bothered fixing them yet:

The spell check isn't a big deal for me since OSX has built-in spellcheck everywhere anyway. And I don't use Firefox on OSX.

Dek, what browser do you use for Mac OS X? Are you using Safari or something else? I've checked out Camino and Opera, but tend to use Firefox more than any other browser on the Mac.

I use OmniWeb. It's not free though. $40 I think. But I actually bought it and it's worth it. Very very nice browser. Based off the same rendering engine as Safari, but faster and with tons more features. Safari isn't horrible though, especially if you use a plugin like Saft or something.
