congrats rodder ![]() i think this layout, maybe with a large graphical abstract bg behind it, could work well for the overall site. we shall see... chris |

Get Mambo and be done with it... That's what that winning layout reminds me of, no offense.

Thanks guys. And a big thanks to Rich (....starts rewording malibu's speech....). Yeah, that feels a little odd. They could always be worked in though. I can't promise that kind of candy. Would you settle for a sugar rush? So far I have 2 skins, one rich already has. Im hoping they will spice things up. It's up to rich though if he wants to use them or not. |

I love how "Newest" is spelt wrong in "Newsest Images" But it looks sharp, great job. |

I like it, much better than the whole 'red' thing. I do have an important comment though: the top banner needs to stay on top and be smaller than the masthead (like it was in the first version by Rodder, only centered) because right now it gets confused with the site content very easily and distracts the user. Maybe the site could focus on design rather than techniques or steps that achieve a certain result. There are lots of places that have tutorials, few that explain design principles and it's the latter that really make the difference. |
