Dan knows my wife is pregnant (as of about a week ago I guess). You just never get on MSN at all, and of course the forum was dead after the election, so I just never get a chance to talk to anyone anymore...the baby already takes much of my time, and he's not even here yet.

Yes... multiple entries are fine. I am a bit worried everyone is leaving it to the last minute, it would be best if I could give feedback to entries in case I like your concept, but it just needs some refining - or if you have gone completely the wrong direction... Anyway, we'll just have to see what comes back.

Actually let me ask you another question. You mentioned adding a gallery to the site. Is this a custom script you have in mind or some sort of software? If there's a demo somewhere online, it would help to see if our layouts would fit or something could be added to the home page.

The gallery will be a forum addition - so we'll customise according to the template. I don't know which script specifically we'll use, but one that is compatible with vbulletin.

But basically it would just display a series of thumbnails in the middle of the page linking to the full size version.

I was just thinking that you might want to be careful with the amount of google ads you put around on your main page, you don't want to put your percentage down, maybe thats why some were removed ? just a thought! maybe just one set on the main page, and others in "high traffic" areas where they'll be easily seen ?like at the bottom of tutorials etc.

Okay, I shudder at even posting this, initially I kind of liked what was going on, but the more I look at it the more I dislike it.. Its too simple, theirs no real pizazz to it.

I kind of like the buttons, but I don't know what it looks like at 1024x768 on a 15/17 inch monitor. I'm running 1280x1024 on a 19 inch monitor, so everything looks crisp. At 800 x 600 the only things that would be cut off are the advertisements, so no big loss (IMO)
