Okay, can I get some dramatic music here for the soap opera? Here's the outcome. After emailing back and forth and after the guy took down the site claiming the domain expired back in January, I told him I had screen shots of everything and that I was monitoring all of the site changes he was making to his site.

I bluffed and he took it. Then I sent him the link to the "who-is" search and tah-dah! He made the transfer and it didn't cost us a penny! Bravo!

However, I couldn't have done it without the help of Deker, Fig, and Malibu. Thanks for filling me in guys, I think that after my second email and the strong tone I used, he got the picture. So the domain is under our control now and in my client's name.

Thanks again for all the help man, I really appreciate it.

Hey guys, I know we celebrated and all but I have a new question here for you. *runs from everyone throwing beer cans*

Okay, I have narrowed down the hosting for this new site to two hosts. I need alot of space due to tons of pictures for this site. So I would like to know which of the two hosting sites would you guys pick:

Media Temple (mt)

DreamHost

Those are the two I'm looking at right now, and they're pretty good. I'm looking more at the $7.95/year hosting for two years. I just wanted to get your take on this. Thanks again fellas.

i would go with dreamhost. have had an account with them for about 4 years
