War is NOT fun! - How much oil will this war consume? I hear those planes and carriers do take a lot of fuel - lots of cars and tanks and planes and ships - I think they will use half the oil gained from this war - is the war is won - to cover the war effort. I mean think about it - this is the army not your average Honda Civic. Anyone have any idea how much gas a carrier drinks per mile?? Look at the TV - see all those things in motion - those drink gas. This kinda reminds me of the eco-fighters - "Let's stop using plastic - use bio-degradable brown paper!!" - Right - let's cut down the trees to make brown paper....instead of using the plastic that comes from oil byproducts, is 90% recyclable and cheaper to boot.

War isn't about oil kthx. It comes as an add-on after occupying Iraq. We get oil, a stronger military and econimic foothold in Europe, and to show that the United Nations actually works unlike that other League.

That explaination still doesn't support either sides of the arguement however.

I'm the devil's advocate in this - I am not supporting either party - pro or against war - Anyway I live in Europe - Romania - a "stronger military foothold in Europe" doesn't really appeal to me but hey - I like Americans - some of my best paying customers are Americans - so what the heck - bring them on
As long as they don't make me fight in a war I'm cool - I hate military stuff - In Romania military service is mandatory - unless you're crippled or sumptin' or if you're a student - Myself I am crippled by my inability to fight for a cause. I majored in French and English, Then I went to art school for another 2 years - I am now doing postgraduate studies.... God only knows what will come next - I have to keep this up until I'm 42 - that's the age they don't force you into military service anymore...

A wise man once said that fighting for peace is like f***ing for virginity.
