text confinment

since im having so much trouble with this can someone just show me how to make a table that is only as wide as 456 pixels that has some text in it so that my iframe doesnt scroll the right all the time cause its getting really annoying and i cant figure it out

the cell should automatically wrap the text. oh, make sure the iframe's width is (table cell width)+16 so that it doesn't scroll sideways.

To make a table a certain size, just do < table width="456">< /table>. And like moochan said, if you are putting it in an iFrame, subtract enough width so that it will still fit with a vertical scroll bar in there.

im not that new i knew that and ive tried it in fact ive tried the correct size
i have tried percent
i have a tried a much smaller size
but no matter what i try the god damn text will not wrap it is so f'ing annoying is there any reason you guys know of that might be keeping my text from wrapping?

Does the text have any spaces in it? or is it just one long string?

did you make sure that you put the text in the cell?... -_-

yes the text is in the cell and for testing the frame i just have a big long line of characters like this lajd;lfkjasdfkjas;ldfkjasdasd;fljasdlkfasd;jflaksdjdsaf
