Is your google broken? http://www.google.fi/search?q=%22frames+tutorial%22&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=fi&lr= <-- there are loads. Not to be an ass, but why won't people do a single search on a search engine before asking on a forum? :o |

I agree ... frames usually are not too appealing to the eye. However I have seen some decent sites that use them, I'd rather use tables ..... there is a website called www.lissaexplains.com The reason why I like it you ask? It's made by an 11 year old girl. Well ... she was 11 when she made it I think .. anywho. Very intellegant girl and because it's made by a kid and for kids it's very simple and easy to understand. Tons of other help. Far surpasses the other help websites however they are still pretty decent websites

Frames do have their place and that is why the W3 didn't outright get rid of them (they were proposing making frames a thing of the past).... But until browsers bet 100% consistent with css and developers no longer need frames for small sections or hacks, then they have a use. Plus for things like administration sections and whatnot they do come in handy.
