How can you scroll something with no scrollbars? Why would you want to? Unless you are talking about a scroller script like the one on the front page of TeamPS... http://www.teamphotoshop.com/forum/vbforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=104 Which you can find out how to do there. But those are pretty annoying since you can only scroll at the speed set by the script, not as fast as you want like a real scrollbar. |

Again, how are you supposed to scroll if you can't see the scroll bar?

Well you can either use a javascript scroller, or you can change the scrollbar colors so they match the background, but you can only do that for IE browsers. So.... If you really want a custom style scroller, use the div and javascript method like on teamphotoshop. It isn't 100% useable on all browsers, but most will work.

I have an image in the background anyway, so that wouldn't work. I meant a transparent scrollbar. Just the mousewheel would be used. I suppose there really isn't such a thing.. Nos. |

There's a trick if you use iframes though, but only in a special case. If the iframe is positioned using static dimensions instead of percentages or aligns, you can use layers and place an image over the scrollbar in the parent page ... It works, but I still don't see a point in doing so... |

Not everyone has a mousewheel, so don't do that. And plus - the mousewheel only goes so fast/goes too fast. Scrollbars are on sites for a reason - let your viewers use them. tom |
