hey i'm coming back to html after a stint on flash (www.thorium-uk.tk hehe advertising) i'm making (well, have made a template) and have put it together using a few tables. right, http://home.graffiti.net/chriso20/problem.jpg here's my pik i want text where the red is, but at the mo i can only get it either underneath the side bit or where yellow is. how can i get the text to flow around the swirl thing? so goes where yellow is, but then goes underneath when gets down far enough? btw. the side panel is made up of four piks... shown here... http://home.graffiti.net/chriso20/side.jpg av a look. thanks |

I think you need to look into column span and row span. Tables are boxes, so if you are trying to break that rule it gets fussy. You might have to make the text on different tables, or in different cells to compensate for the flow of the image. If you are trying to put it all in one table, try to see if you can column span each row to fit the change and get the text to do the same. Might not work though.
