K, I am working on setting up digi-news and I get stuck on this one: I have an iframe where the news is shown. K that is there, what is in there is the default 'template.htm' page that comes with the product. Where I am having problems is they tell you to go to the 'admin.php' page and add the news to generate some code. K no biggy. Now they tell you to add this code to the php page that you wish to display the news in. Now I am lost. "5.) Displaying news is relatively simple. Visit the "Code Generator" in the control panel and follow the instructions. When all is done, copy and paste the code created for you into a PHP file where you'd like the news displayed." Do they mean create a seperate page that all it is, is this news code? I couldnt figure this one out.... Thanks.... is what the read me file says. |

yes. from what i read, i believe they want you to make a .php page, and copy and paste the code generated into this file, save it and upload it. then have the iframe link to this .php page and all should work. if not, then i don't know what they mean.

The template.htm is just an HTML file that formats individual news postings. What you need to do is as PowerfulSquid mentioned.
