metallic

has anyone mastered the metallic/chrome look in photoshop?
this are my best efforts at it. i taught my friend how to do it and he can make some pretty sick text aswell now...

pretty nice chrome yeah, not too sure about the colors and backgrounds but...

yer..100% original photoshop, all text using the layer styles..

V nice.

If i had to say which one was the best I'd have to go for the second one.

Nice image, easy to read. The third one is still v good, but the font isnt quite as easy to read.

I've really got to get some graphics up on here for people to rip apart.

i made this up for my friend and i suppose u could use it..
it's a screen shot of the bevel and emboss settings.

you can play around with the altitude settings to get a different kind of chrome, but feel free to change anything else
