yea, you should get rid of that lens flare and maybe take the glow off of the "vacant spaces".

yeah i agree with the lens flare... and get rid of the glowing around the text like x13 said... but other then those 2 things i think it looks good...

yeah - the lens flare is too simple to acquire - a simple effect in psp7!

I agree with the comment regarding the glow around vacant spaces. Was not sure if I liked it or not.

So what is the big issue with lens flares? Everybody here made a comment about them, but did not say why. Just curious...

lens flares are annoying (well to me anyway ) and not effective in a majority of ways. I would rather use blinds - but people prefer lens flares due to their realty.

They are effective with negative art but thats only my opinion!

imagine you're hiking in the wilderness, and you see the best landscape you'll ever see, once in a lifetime chance, so you grab your camera and take a snap....
you get it developed and theres a big bright flare of the sun on your lens...

thats from a photography point of view..
designers dont like lens flares because noobs have been using them since the beginning of time, adding them to pictures that dont even need them and so on, its like a reknowned hatred...

i don't agree with how so many people think they can NEVER be useful because there are times when they can be used well. However i do agree that many people overuse them.
