looks good How about this for the background: something "natural" like canvas, fabric or wood (but nothing "fake" looking), or even process/design blueprints (?) with a drop shadow from the main user interface. Just an idea.... |

thanks, DACHE, I finally got an idea from someone! I will definitely try it. I was wondering if you could just explain the last part, about the blueprints being a drop shadow? Thanks. cablemotion |

Sorry, I've been away for a few days. The blueprints idea was having your existing image/user interface cast a drop shadow onto a background that looks like technical drawings/blueprints of furniture on some grainy, natural-colored drafting paper (perhaps one from PS7's artistic textures). Something along those lines. |

okay, here is a new version I made: http://saffasartworks.com/Nana/mock%20site%202-8.jpg This time used the texture to make a stone cutout. I'm thinking I like it, I just want to change the text effect for the navigation and adjust the background some more. Comments? |

Okay, I've changed the background now to something less clashing.... http://saffasartworks.com/Nana/mock%20site%202-9.jpg I still have to set up the content box. Feedback? |
