they look good.. simple and good.. I like the colors and the the name is easy to read, and what wasnt i suppost to remind you about the gradients for they look good...???

First one would be my choice if it wasn't the size thing. Make it fit 1024x768 or less.......

Second one fits, but not really fancy......

so maybe scale it down???

Number 2 is simple and neat.
But I really love the number 1, the way you sliced the building is definitly great, it looks somewhat frightening. Very clever.
