EventHorizon -- oops watch out, don't get freezer burned

hey all,

i tore up my desk last night and over 5 hours i rewired 2 computers.. and about 5 in the morning i opened photoshop..

i like it i guess...i dont' remember that from the movie tho.

umn, for those who don't know "Event Horizon" is the area around a black hole where supposibly time does exist, but when matter passes through the event horizon into the black hole, then it is destroyed.

I dont like it.

reason:
1. IMO lens flares are wack. Overused, people who dont know PS are utterly amazed by them, and will praise a peice just because it has a flare. Little do they know that they require a max of 3 clicks. Be more creative.

2. The grid BG is tired. At least just an unimproved one like this. Seems really dull.

3. Fonts are boring, although i do understand that sans serif fonts have a place, but usually require tampering with the spacing, etc to achieve a nice effect.


4. Seems kinda boring, or maybe unfinished. Next time, take some more time and add nifty detail things. Find NASA images of stars of galaxies or some ****. Give it depth.

I appreciate honest criticism, and hopefully you do to.

image too pleasant...no where near descriptive of the definition of event horizon.

Lithium3 - I was thinking the same thing, i had a much better grid, but ps lost it -- grrr and ill try to use some of my stock photography, and i put the lens flare in it because in space there is a great chance that there is a solar body somewhere nearby.
