Hey, i was out today just messin around with techniques and things the4man taught me....thanks dude , and i just shot some closeups of a few things, tell me how u think they turned out. These are raw photos, not even unsharp mask applied. Grass1 Grass2 Volume Control Let me know what ya think! remember...im a noobie lol |

i'm diggin' on the grass; what did "the4man" tell you about close ups? I'm kinda new to the digital-photo-thingy myself.

well he actually didnt teach much about closeups, but he taught me the different scenarios to use different shutter speeds, but that doesnt really apply to this picture much, i used a relatively fast shutter at 1/250th second so it wouldnt blur if i shook the camera and also it was quite sunny and i wanted to tone it down a bit. any other comments on the pictures?

the4man knows *all*;) Actually, I was telling him about how to use different shutter speeds for different effects and under what lighting conditions to use them. Not any new or ground breaking information in the world of photography. Just a couple of basics to pass along. |

where is a good place to go, to learn more about all the photography stuff? I've just been playing with my camera and seeing what different things it can do, like photoshop. I have a sony DSC-F707 camera and I love it, just wish I knew how to manipulate everything I see.
