html from JPEG

so if i create a JPEG say in photoshop of the kind of layout i want. i.e with the buttons, header and background and things.

Is it a simple process to conver this to html?
what is it that i need to do to use this as a template for my site?

can someone please suggest a course of action.....thanks

slice the jpeg with the slice tool and save for web..

its that simple ?

i thought there was a little more to it than that ? u know with the buttons and things.
