It's okay. I'd personally like to see some darker shades of grey replace some of that black tho.

Grunge isn't trendy because its too open-ended, and there's too much you can do to it. I like the piece you have there, it has a nice feel about it. Very nice. The text blends in well also. To me it looks like you're trying to convey she was the only pure thing, the grunge being all the evil in the world around her. Very inspiring. Glad I could help with the brush link.

I agree that "grunge" art can be executed in far more ways than "trendy" art - but - you would have to agree that grunge art have become a trend lately. trend·y : Pronunciation Key (trnd) Informal adj. trend·i·er, trend·i·est Of or in accord with the latest fad or fashion: trendy clothes. or - Of or in accord with the latest fad or fashion: trendy art. Just a little play on words I sappose.. I was trying to give the shadows a devouring feel to it. I tried to put some more grays but it just looked wrong. I'm very new to grunge and fairly new to PS. I remember when grunge was few and spread. (Before i dove into editing) That's just about it Diablo, at the bottom if you noticed it (kind of) says "in your splendor" to complete the sentence "In awe of your splendor." As if "i could be affixed in a gawk and not even begin to notice the surroundings." Or further more, not notice the world, or even further, the evil world. :D thanks alot for the comments gratis p.s. I do have a tendency to come across precisely unclear. sorry if that's the case :( |

i would say it is trendy, but people should try all the different styles... and some seem to like what they make with their grunge looks. although grunge has a lot of different looks. its a style that can still be personal and everyone can make it their own. but who ever did it first started a big thing. about you pic it is kinda a bit to much white maybe use the brushes a bit more around the edges.. balance it out

i like it except like the first reply there's a little too much black, i little more variation of shades would have been nice... but i like it. yea grunge is kinda trendy but the reason is it's so easy but a true photoshopper can spot just brushes from the ones that are creative .
